Open data

The cleaned datasets behind TenderSpace, free to download, use and redistribute. Everything here is aggregate or public-record: the same data the app itself serves, as analysis-ready CSV. If you publish work built on these files, a link back helps others find the source.

Licence & provenance

Source: the National Treasury eTenders transparency portal (OCDS API), published under the PDDL v1.0 public-domain licence. These exports carry the same licence. The added value is the cleaning: firm-name variants are canonicalized, categories crosswalked, values bounded to a plausible window with coverage stated, and the capability graph precomputed.

Read the methodology before drawing conclusions: coverage of the portal is voluntary for municipalities and SOEs, so absence of data is not absence of procurement, and rand figures are robust estimates, never raw sums.
